The 1930's saw the rise of hand-built model race cars, known as spindizzies or tether cars. These hand-built cars powered by model airplane engines raced at speeds of 150 miles per hour. Incredibly detailed and aerodynamic, these miniature race cars were beyond toys. They were art representative of the best pioneering technology of the day. Constructed using original blue prints our Bantam Midget model resembles the original down to the smallest detail
