We have to admit this is one of our favorite pieces in the entire Thos. Baker collection. We started with a traditional steamer chair--reclining 5-position back, integrated folding footstool and loads of classic ocean liner charm. (You can almost hear the fog horns of the QE2, right?)
We updated the design with fine slatwork and precision joinery; refined the lines to an almost architectural crispness; and then finished it off with brushed stainless steel fittings. You would have to park an S-Class on your patio to have more comfort and style.
We highly recommend you upgrade a cabin class and add the Thos. Baker Signature Navy cushions with Khaki piping. (Ahoy!) Or, if you prefer, go with Claret, Dark Olive or Khaki. Sunbrella® cushions are 3" thick and double-piped.
This chair ships fully assembled and requires only a modicum of spatial sense to unfold it.
