For years, master potter Peter Wakefield has worked hand-in-hand with renowned master potter and friend Guy Wolff, in which Peter was at the forefront of training potters worldwide in the revival of 18th and 19th-century garden wares. Recognizing the talent of potters in Honduras, Peter and Guy organized a studio there to make exquisite handcrafted pottery. The success of the studio led to a dramatic improvement in the standard of living for both the artisans and the community. Now, Peter takes a fresh look at the European styles produced centuries ago with Wakefield Handmade. Fittingly, each pot in this collection is made with care by the same Honduran artists first employed so many years ago.
