Original model was found at the Marche Biro on the Avenue Michelet in Paris. It was the deep distressed black, white and red patina that attracted instantly. The proprietor confided that it was purchased at Drouot, the famed Paris auction house.

Plank-on-frame construction, all cotton sails and brass fittings. Includes boat and stand.
